Completed! UFO #40

I love the bright sunny batiks that were in this quilt kit I purchased at Buttonwood Quilt Shop (now Quilt A Bit).  I made the top a generous twin bed size rather than just finishing it off as a lap quilt.  It measures 60" x 92".

The pattern is Gold's Got The Blues by Sue Harvey & Sandy Boobar of Pine Tree Country Quilts.

I quilted it with my favorite design boards from Urban Elementz called Fossil.

Pantographs

I purchased a used Innova long arm a few months ago.  I love the machine and I've finally gotten brave enough to try quilting some pantographs.  Today I practiced with one called "Cool Beans" on a child's puzzle quilt (another UFO).

I'm working on stitching the binding down and then I'll take a better picture.

I was poking around the Urban Elementz website and came across a free download for Heatwave.  It looks like a fun one to try next!

Check it out here.  It's available to print or you can download the digital if you have that option for you machine.
