I've been working on reorganizing my sewing room. I know. I'm always reorganizing my sewing room! This time though, I'm making a plan for next year's quilting while I'm at it. (More details about that another day.)
I really hope to complete a dozen UFO's, one a month, in 2021. I have a couple of other goals lined up too. With all these plans, I need to make sure I leave some room for less tedious quilting. For me, that equates to making fun kid's quilts.
JoAnn's had minky fabric on sale for $5.99 a yard this weekend (regularly $14.99). Minky makes for super soft cuddly backing on little kid's quilts. I was there as the door opened, and luckily I had the store nearly to myself! You know what that means - with no one waiting in line at the cutting table - ALL the colors had to come home with me.
