Behind Bars

I enjoy making quilts to document a point in time.  Sometimes they're about an event that may make the history books but, often it's just to memorialize how I was feeling at that particular time.  

You can use your own interpretation of this quilt.  The pattern name is "Behind Bars" by Urban Elementz and it finished at 52" x 78". 

I was asked why I chose to quilt it with flames (Brush fire by Urban Elementz).  My half-joking answer was "well, that's Plan B".  I do really like this quilt and have to admit, making it was quite cathartic.
