The ugly quilt is finished

 After being quilted and bound I'll admit "the ugly quilt" isn't quite as bad as it first appeared it was going to be.  I'm glad I didn't let those four 20" blocks go to waste.  With the addition of coping strips and borders it ended up being a good size to donate at 57" x 72".

Here are a couple of close up shots of the quilting.  I need a lot more practice but, it was fun to do and I'll be trying it again.

I was able to make three quilts out of one UFO.  I quilted the third one and I'm binding it tonight.
