Fab 4 week #32

I set up a page on my blog showing the UFO's I still need to complete with a photo of each one that links to the post on the current status.  (I didn't added the 12 from the random number draw, at least not yet, or the flimsies to be quilted).  I also have a page I began in January, listing all my UFO's at that time.  2021 Quilt goals I'm updating it with the date completed as I work through them.  I should probably  link the completed date to a photo of the quilt.

Having a visual list will be helpful in making a FAB 4 list each week.  It'll probably make keeping my sewing room neat a lot easier too!   It feels good to be making progress.

Week #31 in review

1 - Begin really reassessing remaining UFO's and decide to Fling, Finish, Revise, or Restash DONE!
2 - Work on piecing blocks for UFO #11 (August's random number) Blocks half pieced, to be continued.
3 - Bind UFO #32 (May's random number) DONE! and posted
4 - Sort out short strings to make a "3 at a time" quilt layout DONE!  and decision made for different setting to work with a neutral from stash.

Week #32

1 - Quilt UFO #44
2 - Assemble UFO #21 to flimsy status
3 - Continue piecing blocks for August random UFO #11
4 - Bind UFO #40

The muslin foundations I have to use for the short strings I sorted last week are 3 1/2" x 9 1/2" so I think I'll sew them as leaders/enders until I have enough for a top.

One of the UFO's I reevaluated is a Christmas BOM.  So the first thing I plan to do each week before I begin my FAB 4 is to make one block for it. Should give me plenty of time to have it done by Christmas this year!

The batting I ordered was delivered and I can't wait to get started but first, the new pantograph I'm anxious t to try, Modern Twist needs to get here too!
