FAB 4 Week #36

I literally have 20 items on my quilting "to do" list.  Here's the thing about selecting the four items for the week's list.  You don't have to complete them all!  The idea is to make some progress on them and still have time to work on new projects.

Here's my list for this week:

Week #36

  1. Add borders to UFO#11
  2. Either restash or work on Halloween wall hanging kit
  3. Work on alternate blocks for Scrap Busting Series #3 (to use with the orphans in the Civil War scrap bin)
  4. Finish piecing blue string blocks

Week #35 in Review

  1. Quilt batik string top.  Done!
  2. Cut a few scraps in the morning before work - hand sew bindings after dinner. Done!
  3. This week I'll get back to setting the blocks for UFO #11 - August random draw.  Done!
  4. Work on blue string blocks. (Rolled over from last week.) Done!

As far as those other items on my list, most have to do with the on-going organization in my sewing room and ideas for future quilts.

  • list long arm design boards on eBay
  • get photos printed for my scrap busting series inspiration folder
  • spend time on learning how to use EQ8
  • work on scanning more patterns
  • add photos of scanned patterns to an album
  • check album for possible rail fence ideas
  • work on the bright Scrap Busting Series #2 top
  • start working on UFO #17
  • pull a small Halloween wall hanging kit and decide if I want to make it or fling
  • make a final decision on whether or not to fling UFO #19 (Harvest Time)
  • wash newly completed quilts
  • decide which 12 UFOs to carry over to 2022
  • Quilt UFO #33
